was doing some research n came across this pic.. ok.. continuation of my recounts of KS retreat '07!
woke up today with an extremely painful headache so i was nt feeling well enough at 1.30pm to get out of the house.. which is why i dint go for KS today.. it still hurts.. hehe..
1st day.
during the break. we were playing table tennis (there's a table there)
dinner was za cai fan. haha.. i dunno wad tt is in eng..
aft tt.. we went back to the "mountains" where we had a briefing by BenQ.. we would play a game of blind hide and seek, as in, no lights on at all, and its really dark there... after that we would head in groups into the abandoned nursery...... "No one knows why the people all left the place, pots are still left there.. something happened..." Follow the path of the light sticks. Red means a dead end. walk in to your own peril. find a well and you should be able to make your way back.
our hide n seek, i hid behind the mattresses in the "oasis" and wasnt found until much later.. Jere was going "i found you!" "i found you!" when he didnt find anybody, pointing all over the place, and Abel nearly showed himself. it was real fun though.. ^_^
then was the nightwalk. sojourners went in first (i think) then wanderers. then we were bored so BenQ taught us a game. "pass the beat across the circle" so we played tt until it was our turn. Ben gave us a test,but i couldnt really see as i wasnt wearing my specs. ok. so it was really noisy.. with all the frogs n toads there.. and Ben was trying to lag us, cos the grp infront was very slow.. then we went in..
"welcome to the abandoned nursery." it was really dark and we had to walk around, climbing over branches anr roots, walking past pots, sonetimes kicking into them, poking our sticks into the ground infront of us.
Andrew: Tim, can u come here n lead? im scared..
Me: i can lead if u want, but the path is too narrow.. choose the left path.
so we walked into a dead end!! we turned around n Tim lead us this time, on the right path. which was the correct one.. so we just charged in until we heard the other two groups who were lost and we allianced. there were no more light sticks!! all of us were lost!!

TimQ: found it!!
and the 2 tims led us to the well. it was HUGE. and filled with water.. "THROW JOSEPH IN!!" haha, we didnt. so we had to climb stairs and turned left, climbing more stairs till we reached our campsite again. and went back to our dowms and washed up.
i couldnt sleep properly tt night.. as the 1st night always is.. Jessie was busy writing to her mortal, who was her angel as well.. JERE!! plus, her fake name was Jeremiah. so... coincidential.. haha.....
Day 2.
Emelyn came to wake us up. i woke up too early and so went back to slp.. haha.. went for our morning activity, stretching and ping pong..
Breakfast.. bread and bread only.. i drank a cup of juice and went to memorise my verses.. rrrrr.. and had devotion.. then it was message time!! about Enoch. the man who walked with God.
break time. did nothing much..
briefing for food hunt.. we were already hungry by then.. we had to buy food starting with F,A,I,T n H and do a skit with the food. ok.. we first had lunch.. then afterwards went to ntuc to buy food. we bought a french sausage, apple-mango puree (baby food), Ikura sushi, Turtle soup (ben n jerry ice cream), and honeydew sago stuff.. haha.. not gonna explain abt our skit.. :p sojourners' pineapple was nebuchadnezzar.
wash up, dinner. I had pizza!! haha.. others got nasi lemak or.. fried noodles.. i think..
3rd message, on Moses. the man who saw the invisible. celebrated Ben Yeo's bdae during supper and then went to slp with some noisy ppl..
Day 3
Woke up, went out, played the yee-ha game during morning activity.
Breakfast, koko crunch n fruit loops!!
personal devotion, and hit vs 16 of hebrews ll.
Message 4 - Abraham n Rahab.
Break n lunch, nasi lemak. had 1.5 boxes of it and my irritating angel said i eat a lot.
briefings on "The Sharleen and Eunice battle!"
THE Sharleen and Eunice battle!! not explaining. really fun though.
Justus set up the campfire.. but it rained..
dinner, spaghetti, there wasnt enough.. IT STOPPED RAINING.
i helped to get the wood into planks for the campfire.. really it was like stress management camp. hahaha..
FIRE!!
played games, recite memory verse, played games again, recite, and revelation of angel n mortal! my SUPER irritating angel was BenQ.
wash up, talked with naggy Johanna, cured Song Jia, slept. had a few weird dreams.. i forgot what they were about..
Day 4.
woke up at 7. did a card for Justus.
had a heavy breakfast..
devotion.
Talked with the ppl in my dorm and some not from my room about many things..
was called out by Joanna.
Camp debrief.
cleanup.
got our report cards.. mine had no grades at all!!
then it was go home time..
