Ring.. Ling.. The wind blows cold as the ice-trapped maiden stays frozen, the bells ring as the wind sways them from side to side. the warmth is gone, the cold stays, as the ice never melts. The flames stay near but she enforces the ice, with each small touch of warmth, staying in the comfort of the ice, where she continues freezing herself, afraid to reach the warmth that is outside of the confinement. She turns cold, herself having the same feel as the ice. The flames become a threat and she tries to extinguish them, too trying to extinguish the flames of a furnace. The ice is still enforced but the flames still burn on...
What to conclude when you can't come to a conclusion? If death is the end, there is no meaning in life. Pleasure, accomplishments, greatness, all will go to nothing after death. But, the elect, we are assured eternal life. That is the goal. We as elect will continue living even after death. This death is a gateway for us into heaven. Blessed are we! Eccle 2, 1 Cor 15. ^_^
